From 01 January 2009, recent changes to the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act in South Australia require you to appoint a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator (RRTWC).

WorkCover SA requires that the nominated RRTWC undertake training with an Approved Training Provider to gain the essential skills needed to effectively manage workplace injuries and coordinate workers’ safe and timely return to work after injury.

ASC Training and Development is a WorkCover Approved Training Provider for the Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Training Program, and our specialist facilitators for this program bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in this vital field.

Two programs are available:

Level 1 Course:  If your WorkCover levy is less than 4.5%, then only one day of training is required. This training is covered in Day 1 of our complete 3 Day program. (This does not apply to Self-Insurers).

Level 2 Course: If your WorkCover levy is 4.5% or higher, your representative must undertake the full 3 day program.

ASC Training & Development were the selected provider for the SA Public Sector Capability Development for Injury Prevention and Management Project, 2006-2008, and can offer a nationally recognised pathway in this area. (Note additional course assignments and cost applies).

On successful completion of additional assessment tasks, a Statement of Attainment will be issued for the nationally recognised units:
